Treating your Gold Filled and Gold Plated jewelry with care will keep in a great shape for years to come. Please take the following precautions to avoid unnecessary wear and tear:

* Remove your jewelry:

- if you plan to get wet, including at the beach or pool, shower, bath, spa, before washing hands, etc.

- before going to sleep, exercising or if you plan to do any physically strenuous activities.

* Put jewelry on last, after you apply make-up, skin care products, perfume, hairspray, etc.

* Avoid contact with harsh chemicals including household cleaners, acid, alkali, corrosive substances, etc. This includes not using any chemical jewelry cleaners or polishing cloths with chemical treatment in it.

* Best practices to keep your gold filled or plated jewelry looking it’s best include cleaning after each use with a soft, non-abrasive, lint-free cloth or chamois to remove dirt and debris. You may also soak it for a few minutes in warm, soapy water and dry it with a soft cloth or use a soft toothbrush to clean small cracks and crevices as needed.
